A Safer, More Resilient Live Oak and Sutter County - Join the Conversation

 Live Oak is committed to providing essential services, including maintaining our financial security and critical local and regional focus on life saving/ essential safety services, no matter what happens at the State or Federal level. As a tight nit community, we are proud to work on our own, with our fellow cities, and with Sutter County to provide the basic services our residents expect and deserve.

However, even providing core services is becoming more difficult. Whether at the state or federal levels, larger governments have made one thing clear: we cannot depend on outside support to keep our communities safe — we must rely on ourselves.

That’s why we are working  together with Sutter County and Yuba City - as we plan a more self-reliant future. As a first step, and in advance of the County adopting their annual budget- they are asking you-the community we both serve, for your feedback.
